Responsible for bringing the best talent into the UK's leading Wine retailer! This included: strategic sourcing, interviewing, running assessment centres, social media branding, onboarding, Talent Acquisition Projects (employer brand, ATS Development, Candidate & Hiring Manager experience), improving recruitment processes, balancing multiple roles, and working with all hiring managers in the business to secure the best talent across the country.

I spent part of the Summer working as an Operations Consultant at Arup. I worked on a number of interesting projects allowing my experience to stretch over a number of newly found skills. Arup allowed me to work directly with clients through stakeholder engagement, and empowered my understanding of logistical and operational solutions.

I spent a three month paid placement at AECOM in the summer period, in between my studies. During my placement at AECOM I worked in the Environmental, Transportation and Building Engineering departments working on many interesting and important projects. I found the experience highly enjoyable and enjoyed working in an office based environment in both St. Albans and central London. While at AECOM I picked up technical skills through Arc GIS, Microstation and Excel.

Sam has completed the Duke of Edinburgh Silver award and also Bronze award.
