I help writers of all levels discover their voice. I give generative prompts and useful feedback, while fostering lively discussions that are grounded in a sense of community and belonging.

Over the course of five years, I helped dozens of UMass students--many of them immigrants, many of them from under-served communities, many of them non-traditional students with jobs and families--fulfill UMass Boston's writing proficiency graduation requirement. I guided students who were often writing-averse or writing-avoidant through the writing of polished academic arguments.

I led weekly writing classes with a group of upper school students, culminating in a capstone performance at Mass Poetry's performance space in Boston's Seaport District. As well, I met weekly with 3 high school student writers for 1 on 1 mentoring.

I taught two Introduction to College Writing classes to freshmen at Northeastern University.
