Senior Development Engineer
Current• Instrument/Electrical Project Lead Engineer/Manager – designing, managing, executing and completing 2-3 Major Projects with budget of each in the range of SGD250,000 – 5,000,000 and 20-30 Plant Modification Projects with budget of each below SGD 250,000 per year• Project Head for Multi-million Safety Integrity Level Upgrade and Verification 10-years Roadmap ProjectDuties and Responsibilities included: LOPA study and calculation to upgrade the refinery’s Safety Integrity Loops to the required level Collate, review and analyse technical and operational information to provide engineering solutions as well as to support basic engineering design and equipment selection in ensuring specifications are consistent with acceptable standards/requirements Implement appropriate Value Improvement and Best Practices at various phases of assigned projects to enhance technical solutions or project design. Supervise/manage project work sites in collaboration with Contractors and monitor construction/fabrication work progress to ensure proper execution and satisfactory delivery of project installations Monitor and review Contractors’ performance to ensure compliance with procedures, standards, regulations and contractual obligations in meeting project objectives Initiate and implement Health/Safety/Environmental Plan (eg. HAZOP, Design Safety Reviews) at various stages of project development including recommending necessary work procedures and methodologies Initiate, prepare and assess detailed technical specifications, drawings, documents and estimates to facilitate tender invitation process and evaluation of tender submissions Plan and monitor progress to control schedule and achieve timely completion Provide technical support in design review, engineering development and field implementation for assigned projects to fulfil procedures established by the Company and facilitate achievement of project objectives
