I monitored, tracked and reported on media coverage for clients, including print and digital. I assisted in identifying pitching opportunities for clients and conducted media outreach, as well as wrote press releases and distributed to local print and broadcast media while corresponding with journalists for any necessary interviews. I gained an overall understanding of media relations, as well as began developing an understanding of digital content creation.

I worked closely with writers in reviewing and readjusting their work to produce quality stories. I collaborated with the rest of the editorial staff, as well as the design team, to compile writer work to produce an issue once a semester.

I helped to fact-check articles for Cincinnati Magazine’s monthly print magazine and online content. I conducted interviews with members of the Cincinnati community in order to edit and add information to stories, as well as work with staff to complete various writing assignments.

I assisted customers in finding items throughout the store, as well as handled transactions and processed payments at the register while working with a large team of associates.

I produced content for Cincy, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky magazines. I pitched ideas to the editor-in-chief, fact-checked written work for other staff members, and wrote articles covering a variety of topics, such as local entertainment and traveI.

I volunteered during the summer for a week-long camp, which focused on STEM for children in grades K-6. I helped lead a group of 10-15 children through their workshop courses.

I assisted in booking photography appointments for customers. I handled all customer service issues and worked directly with the photographers to ensure appointments ran smoothly.
