Magus was the first company that I co-founded. Together with several colleagues at EMSS, I conceptualize the idea of Antenna Magus and managed to secure funding for the development from EMSS (now Altair) and the Support program for industrial innovation (SPII). Later on in the company lifecycle I was able to get CST Germany to co-invest and become a re-seller partner of Magus.During the time that I was at the helm of Magus, I was responsible for or involved with:- Securing investment- Managing relationships with shareholders- Appointment of staff- Product development- Marketing- Managing relationships with re-sellers

I was responsible for assisting FEKO re-sellers in the USA, Germany, South Korea, Japan and China. My involvement with them was primarily of a technical nature, assisting in the production of application notes and presentations. I was responsible for sales in all regions where there was no re-seller. My responsibilities included the presentation of technical courses to clients.

I started working for EMSS developing the out of core capability of the Finite Element / Method of Moments (FEM/MoM) solver in FEKO. At that stage the goal was to simulate a full car with human phantoms to assess exposure from high powered emergency radios.
