This role takes in account management across our separate Digital & Scheme functions, driving strategy with our teams and closely working with technical pricing colleagues. The role is certainly varied, I often go from supporting individual case referrals to supporting the creation of new scheme opportunities. Certified CII, currently specialising in Motor Fleet insurance, I aid individual underwriters within the Leicester office on individual commercial fleet policies, coupled with delivering training to individuals or groups to help them improve their own abilities & assist them in advancing their own underwriting careers.Between times, I am also developing my own underwriting capabilities further.Build relationships with our clients, via face to face meetings across the country with various Insurance Brokers. Currently aligned to the South West region of the UK, so can mean a fair bit of travelling.

Responsible for underwriting fleet renewals of existing clients, via brokers. Lots of direct contact with various brokers via phone & email. Key part of the role was the 'soft skills' aspect, with building a good rapport essential.

Within Customer Services. People management role, mixed with dealing directly with customers'. Major part of the role was speaking to customers' as part of an escalation route should they not be satisfied by a prior outcome.

Spoke to customers' over the phone when they wished to make a complaint, or simply needed some assistance.
