The industry experience that I have gained and continue to gain while working as an Integration Analyst at NMI has been instrumental in setting a foundation for my intended career progression into a Software Engineer role.The work that I undertake at NMI mainly involved working with a wide variety of developers of a to produce e-commerce payment pages or software that utilises a physical PinPad.I am required to maintain a complete knowledge of the solutions that we offer so that I am able to provide accurate and industry leading advice. The e-commerce side of my work has honed my Frontend Development, most notably a deep understanding of JavaScript. I have personally assisted in the development of numerous payment pages, that are currently operating in industries ranging from pre-paid parking to cinema booking sites.In terms of the physical PinPad type projects that I have worked on, these tend to be a lot more involved and require me to work with a development team for many months sometimes most of a year. These PinPad solutions require an understanding of C++, iOS and Android.I enjoy the teamwork that I am involved in at NMI and often provide assistance and/or training to my members of my own team and others in the company that require assistance. I won an award in my first year “Rising Star”.I am an extremely hard worker, I have a compulsion to learn new skills and take this seriously. My goal is to progress into a career as a Software Engineer as this is what I am passionate about.
