I have worked in the NHS since July 2007, in which time I have performed various roles (all within IT), working my way up from basic desktop support through to Service Desk management and, more recently projects and programme management. Since July 2018 I have been managing various IT related projects, ranging from small, local changes, such as relocations of a small team or service, or provision of a 3rd party system to a specific set of stakeholders, to large, organisation-wide projects, which might include managing changes across the entire GP estate, or setting up new GP sites, including all new GP systems such as the Health and Social Care Network (HSCN), Wi-Fi, Telephony, IT desktop equipment, new network equipment, patient check-in and calling screens, etc.
