CurrentDufour/ Corso Stuios, Ltd. is a Louisiana Corporation based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is a art design and fabrication business whose primary focus is site-specific commissioned artwork for liturgical, commercial and residential architecture. Samuel J. Corso is President and sole owner and is responsible for the design and production fabrication of the artwork. Mr. Corso has been involved in the business since 1975. He began as a graduate student working under his mentor, Paul A. Dufour, when the business was Dufour Glass Studio, ltd. He worked directly under Professor Emeritus Dufour and upon receiving his MFA in Glass from Louisiana State University in 1977, he became a business partner, owning shares in the corporation. In 1990, the name of the corporation was changed to Dufour/Corso Studios, Ltd. and in 1992, Dufour retired and Corso became President, assuming sole ownership of the business. He has been in this position for the past 29 years.
