Lead a ten person engineering team developing and supporting Microsoft Whiteboard.

Worked as a Software Developer on Intentional's app team, creating the company's first application intended for wide release.Promoted to Development Lead in February 2016. Managed both the existing app as well as a new team rapidly developing a second app. Continued to contribute as a developer on both projects while coordinating the efforts of 17 direct reports (at the team's peak size). On-boarded developers new to the project and the company, interfaced with senior technical advisers and management, and worked with other teams within the organization to get support when needed.Leading up to Intentional's acquisition, led a small group of developers with experience from a number of different teams within the organization to make significant progress on an ongoing project of interest to Microsoft.

Added an internal tool to Intentional’s IDE to help build and manage projects written in C# and CL1 (a proprietary language).

Worked as a TA for the computer science department for four quarters, twice for Programming I and twice for Programming II. Taught quiz/discussion sections one to two times weekly, grading weekly programming assignments, held office hours, and graded exams.

Performed various office tasks for the resident director of a campus residence hall.

Tutored math through Calculus 3 and German through German 3. Worked as drop-in, individual appointment, and group appointment tutor. Received training in teaching adult learners, study skills, test taking skills, working with ESL students, learning styles, time management, leadership, and communication.
