Hi! I'm Sam Covone and I am an aspiring broadcast journalist for sports. I am currently a senior communication studies major with a sports media certificate at the Klein College of Media and Communication at Temple University.I grew up watching ESPN, WWE, and all the Philadelphia teams, so it isn't a big shock that I want to go into the sports field. I would love to combine my passion for sports into my job.As of Fall 2022, I started to work with OwlSports Update. Since joining, I have edited packages, interviewed athletes and coaches, have operated cameras, and have done standups and a plasma hit for live TV. In the fall of 2023, I became a Beat Reporter for the football show, "Inside the Nest". For the spring 2024 semester, I continued my role as a Beat Reporter for the basketball show, "Courts in Session".
