During the Summer of 2022, I have been able to shadow in the Intensive Outpatient services program at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. Here I have learned skills in group therapy through observing and leading processing and educational groups, patient assessments and intakes, and documentation such as note-taking, and risk assessments.

I worked with an Individual Christian counselor where I observed sessions, received weekly supervision and feedback from the supervisor, completed biopsychosocial, and learned to write brief client progress notes. I had experience with different psychotherapies and mental disorders among different populations.
