Before I started at Escape Studios I did a brief work experience with The Cultural Institute of Radical Contemporary Arts (CIRCA) where I got a basic rundown of how things worked in their company while also contributing some research myself about an up and coming artist.Currently at Escape Studios based in London which is a university focused on VFX, Animation and Game Art. I am mostly focused on 3D Modelling, hard surface and organic. I hope to improve my skills and eventually get to the point where I am modelling assets for a wide range of projects whether it’s in movies or games. I am confident both Maya and ZBrush, but have spent more time in Maya. I have also experimented with texturing my models but I am not as confident in that area and prefer to focus on the concept and creation of the 3D model. At some point I hope to fully take the leap into texturing so I can broaden my skill set and make myself more applicable in projects.At the end of my second year I completed my first group project with a team of talented VFX artists from my class where we had to develop our own ideas based on a series of shots. As a team we felt that we had produced a very good piece of work. The aim of the project was to create something worthy of submitting to The Rookies to see how far we could get. We ended up getting awarded a Draft Selection Badge which meant we ranked highly with the judging panel and were close to being finalists.
