I have managed numerous vital, extensive data center initiatives that include new installations, transitions, and smart hands support. My role involves direct engagement with clients from the project's start to its successful conclusion. I supervise the entire project lifecycle, including building, racking, setup, and continued upkeep, making certain that all aspects are completed within the set timeframe and budget.

I coordinated the schedules for technical staff and relocation engineers, liaising with clients from various accounts to organise site access, managing vehicle load distribution, and procuring essential wiring. I worked closely with the sales team to generate accurate estimates for new projects. As a senior technical engineer, I regularly conducted site visits to supervise and ensure the quality of the executed work.

Collaborated with international clients to transition their systems for optimised performance. This included activities ranging from migrating sites within a pre-production environment to implementing new infrastructure designed to maximise rack utilisation and enhance cable management. Additionally, constructed disaster recovery solutions.

I was working alongside ExcelRedStone, as part of the migration team for Standard Chartered Bank. My responsibilities included auditing devices, inputting the patching schedules into excel, patching and testing copper and fiber, and moving physical devices during the migration. I was involved in every aspect of the end to end process.

As a Fibre Optic Specialist on a short-term rolling contract, my day to day duties included planning and structuring fibre optic routes and patch layouts. I was also involved in signing off light levels and device connectivity to storage and other devices.

I joined Rackspace as Cable Technician under a DCOPS Technician role. I was on the team that built, configured, racked and cabled servers. We had customers from SMEs as well as large MNCs, with as many as 3000 devices. The data centres I worked in Slough and Crawley, uphold the industry's highest standards, working within very strict SLA's. My work on projects helped companies improve existing processes and decrease deployment times. I'm comfortable in CAT5, CAT6, LC/SC cabling technologies and I have built and configured HP/Dell/EMC/Cisco technologies. I spent time in Germany working with the design and build team for a brand new flagship data centre in Frankfurt. I was part of the team chosen to train and onboard the employees of the new department- in terms of both technical and personal aspects. I also worked independently on the DR site.
