Responsible for designing, procuring, and maintaining the technical systems for a 10-channel cable programming facility. This included migrating from analog to SDI digital video and expanding to two in-house production studios; one "mini-studio"; two production trucks; seven edit bays (Mac an PC) with Editshare storage; a half dozen field kits; the 10-channel Master Control Room with robotic tape handing, MPEG servers, satellite down-links, and graphics systems; five government council chambers; and the supporting computer network handling the facility scheduling system, web video streaming, and an e-mail server.Asset Management, applying for equipment grants, issuing Requests for Quotations and Proposals were regular activities.
