Faithful Fools is a live/work community dedicated to social justice through building community, deep personal change, and calling civic leaders to value those most at risk and with least voice.

Faithful Fools is a multidimensional, fully engaged, live-in community that serves the Tenderloin District of San Francisco through presence, relationship building, the arts, and education. Sure, I work with the budget and planning because that is my background. I also do a lot with our learning partners (including Unv of San Francisco) as a community partner for service learning and community engaged learning.

I am engaged with the processes of planning and assessment, both for the institution as a whole and specifically with assessing student learning. Current projects are related to strategic planning, developing new programs, seeking HLC approval for new Master's level programs, and creating the academic assessment program

Academic Assessment: Skilled in development and implementation of effective, meaningful, and manageable academic assessment programs. Extensive experience in working with art/design, medical, business, and general education programs.Strategic Planning: 10 years experience in strategic planning processes, emphasis on growth, financial stability, and academic excellence.Budgeting/planning: Strong skills in aligning planning/budgeting processes with mission, strategic plan, and outcome measures.

Mentor for campus growth--focused on assessment and inst effectiveness. Provided mission development, strategic planning, budgeting, and retention programs to campuses ranging from 200 to 2000 students.Responsible for the development and implementation of assessment and institutional effectiveness programs for 100 campus (130,000 students), 4 system group of privately owned colleges covering art/design, psychology, business, and medical including diploma, certificate, associates, bachelors, and graduate degree programs. LS5100 Performing Gender: Drag on stage and off An examination of gender performances as constructed for performance in public and private. Team taught with Teresa Kupin. LS 5100 Designing Professional Futures Innovation Studies course employing futurist tools and innovative concepts to form professional strategies for successful career development in the knowledge and innovation economy. LS 5100 Resonant Notes and Ideas: Art, Music, Politics, and Economics An Interdisciplinary course focusing on the development of western concepts of the individual and human nature from the Renaissance through the 19th Century. Team taught with Dr. DonnaMae Gustafson. LS 5100 Testing Our Inheritance An interdisciplinary course tracing 20th Century cultural reflections of the ideas of Darwin, Nietzsche, Freud, and Marx. LS 5000 Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies The introductory seminar for MLS students covering research and writing; interdisciplinary methodology; and the work of interdisciplinary thinkers.
