Worked in the enterprise data team, which received requests from other departments for day-to-day and large-scale projects.Presented to the entire company - during an all-hands meeting - a project completed in Rstudio that identified and visualized which state's DMVs update MVRs (motor vehicle records) instantaneously, allowing SambaSafety to provide guidance to its clients who may need to repeatedly pull MVRs on one person. Worked in Python to modify and troubleshoot existing code designed to match court records and MVRs.Used machine learning in Python to create my own models for matching MVRs.Worked in SQL to subset, modify, and identify errors in large databases of MVRs, violations, and drivers.Learned SQL to proficiency in my first few weeks of employment. Improved my skills as I went along.Worked alongside and learned from data architects, data scientists, and analysts within the Enterprise Data Team, as well as individuals in other departments such as legal who sent requests to the team.Received and created work tickets in Jira. Helped others with their tickets when my knowledge was relevant.Updated the company wiki with my work, code, and advice for anyone looking to use or modify my projects.
