My personal life experiences are vast. Being a foster parent was very rewarding as was being able to help families involved in the foster care system later in my life. Starting college at age 48 was an exciting challenge that I should have started earlier in my life, as it opened doors to working in a closer relationship with people of a diverse nature. My compassion is only out done by my commitment to the clients I serve..I achieved a 3.82 GPA and it is something I am proud of and honor. I was able to help several of my classmates by tutoring them and giving quality time. This helped me achieve becoming more confident I was making the correct career path choice in social work.Family is extremely important to me and the only thing higher than my family is God. I have learned over many years, God first, then Family, then others who are in need. This is my goal and at times I have failed achieving this goal, but it is what I strive for every day.
