Organisation-wide lead strategic and operational responsibility for the Evaluation, Research and Learning (ERL) function, working across WSUP's 7 country programmes. Author or co-author of 12 WSUP Publications, including a comprehensive guide to Urban WASH programming; editor of an additional 20 WSUP publications.• Management of urban WASH research projects; supporting strategic development and rollout of WSUP’s 2016-2020 research programme.• Responsibility for WSUP’s internal evaluations of urban WASH programmes, informing future programme direction.• Planning and delivering knowledge management components of multi-country urban WASH programmes.• Facilitating workshops and presenting research findings to diverse audiences; convening sessions and presenting at international conferences, learning events and knowledge exchange forums in the urban WASH sector.• Diverse consultancy projects, including development of a national urban WASH strategy for UNICEF Pakistan.

Pan-organisation research and research support. Example projects include a Rapid Evidence Assessment (REA) of the acceptability to the public of interventions to change behaviour, for the UK Government Behavioural Health and Research Unit; and an Evaluation of the Leading Improvement Teams Programme for the Health Foundation. Managing and contributing to research proposals; day-to-day management of the RAND Europe Quality Assurance Database.

Researching and writing a literature review on Ministerial Effectiveness, since published; pan – organisation research and research support; distilling information in the form of research briefings and summaries; presenting findings to external stakeholders (NAO; civil service departmental boards); maintaining a contact database with Senior Civil Servants and ex-Ministers.

Working with the President’s office in researching and drafting the 2010 Group I (Employers' Group) Strategy; drafting articles, minutes and reports; conducting research at the behest of Group I Members; translating documents from French to English.
