In 2022 my role at Zen Green Stage evolved to that of Projects Manager. This role covers managing all incoming global sales projects from initial enquiry through to shipping and installation. The role also includes developing and implementing the internal processes at Zen to increase autonomy, efficiency and ultimately allowing the business to scale up.

I joined the team at Zen at the start of July 2020 for an 8-week internship opportunity which subsequently extended into a full time role. My role at Lowther included managing business communications with customers, contractors and suppliers. This also included using computer software to calculate associated costs and customer quotes for products such as bi-folding doors. This communication was effective at building rapport with customers in the markets in which we operated which led to securing sales with individual customers and repeat/regular sales from contractors.

My role at Energi involved developing new starters and ensuring the Court Marshal team worked coherently and effectively to deliver the best experience for customers and bring enthusiasm to customer service. I also performed pre-session briefings where I conducted safety messages to up to 130 people at a time. Working in the Energi team allowed me to experience a fast-paced environment with a variety of different people.

I took the opportunity to spend 6 weeks on placement at Decathlon. The creative and innovative marketing plan that I produced evidently created an influx in customer social media engagement which in turn increased brand awareness and more store visits from the desired target market. I also represented Decathlon at events such as industry festivals and student careers fairs.
