Every day brings a new challenge, but also new opportunities.As the purchasing manager, I am in charge of input and output devices, like keyboards, mice, headsets, speakers, barcode scanners, webcams & data converters. Below are my role and responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of assigned product lines.- Sourcing, developing, evaluating, and recommend products and vendors within assigned product lines.- Review and recommend appropriate new products.- Plan EOL (End-of-Life) for select products and product lines.- Work with the product marketing team at head office to create packaging, user manuals, and support and presentation materials based on product line goals.- Create and execute product presentations.- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Partners, and Clients.- Create and release Purchase Orders and be the main point of contact with the vendor for all ongoing orders.- Initial and settle the terms and conditions (e.g. payment terms, INCO terms, RMA allowance...) of Vendor Agreements with new vendors on the company's maximum benefit.- Manage more than 30 different vendors.
