My name is Sam Dunlap and I have just recent graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. I have spent my summers working as a manufacturer and engineering intern at the Hershey Chocolate Company through a contracting service known as System One. I am currently looking for a career that will both allow me to use the skills and knowledge I have acquired as well as learn from professionals that will further my engineering capabilities. I have had experience in developing and planning projects through my schooling. I am proud to say that my senior design project, which was an olive oil dispenser for the Ariston Specialties Company, has a pending patent. I have experience with both AutoCAD and Inventor CAD software as well as MatLAB and C++ for programming. I also offer my skills as a musician to senior care facilities as well as my own church. In my time at Virginia Tech I was a leading member of Church of Christ at Virginia Tech (CCVT) an position allowed me to plan outreach events that would further CCVT’s growth.
