I was responsible for a multitude of technical areas, predominantly focused on IP network design with a focus on routing/switching, MPLS, L2/L3VPNs, and IP planning in multiple data centers and service provider networks.Other areas of responsibility included vendor and customer relations (when applicable), network management system planning and support, and basic project management activities. I was responsible for maintaining network documentation and participated in regular management briefings.Implemented L2VPN proof of concept and global roll-out L4 NE. Improved DSL users’ experience and reduce the support burden for L2 engineers. Major cost reduction was the other outcome of this project.Optimized F5 CGNAT performance at a critical point where millions of users were experiencing packet drop because of high CPU utilization.

Designed the new data center of the Bank based on state-of-the-art technologies.Designed and implemented L2/L3vPN for DC to DC communication as well as an infrastructure that would accommodate an isolated network for transit customers. At first, an inappropriate LoM was offered which I did not approve of and I advised them to incorporate blade servers. Designed a new LoM to be implemented and made a precise HLD and LLD document for this project using Defense-in-depth and a layered security approach.

I was responsible for selecting and evaluating the enterprise’s networking hardware.Maintained LAN and WAN infrastructure of the organization.Optimized the data center to meet industry standards on networking and security.I was responsible for implementing networking projects as well as configuring and maintaining various network devices as proof of concept.Led the on-site team of engineers on how to provide ongoing network support to resolution.
