In late 2014 I began to talk with the United States Navy to try and expand my skill set while working with people from around the world. I was able to obtain a contract as a Fire Controlman and was shipped off to Great Lakes, IL where I would begin my Naval Career. During Bootcamp, I was able to test my leadership skills when pressed with vigorous tasks in a fast changing environment. After Bootcamp, I attended a school to learn the basics of Electricity and Radio Frequency Technology. At my second school I was tasked with a very fast paced learning schedule. Applying skills learned in ATT along with Proficient Troubleshooting procedures. I was able to Succeed and moved on to my third school.At my third school (MK 15 Phalanx 20MM CIWS) I learned a much broader skill set including pneumatics, Advanced Radio Frequency tuning and adjustment procedures, Advanced Electrical Maintenance and repair, Mechanical knowledge and air to liquid/liquid to liquid heat exchangers and cooling fundamentals. I continued on to attended a fourth and final school where everything I have learned throughout my time in a learning evironment would be tested in a real world environment. Learning how to continue working a heavy work load while maintaining a high standard and a sense of pride for what I have been taught has been an incredible experience.CIWS is a self contained gun/radar system. It has closed loop cooling systems containing an air to liquid heat exchanger and a Liquid to Liquid heat exchanger. It relies on its two radars (one searching 3D Radar and one 2D tracking radar) to track air and surface targets. It uses motors to train and elevate the pneumatically driven six barrel rotating gatling gun to effectively defend the ship from inbound hostiles that threaten the lives aboard the ship. It requires a very strenuous maintenance schedule to ensure that the two MK 15 CIWS are working to full potential.

After High school, I Decided to continue my work in law enforcement and became a security officer at Universal Protection Services (now Allied Universal). While working for UPS, my prior experience with Orange County Sheriffs Department helped me quickly become a leader in my assigned location at the Anaheim Packing District in Anaheim, CA. The Packing house consists of 22 restaurants including eight bars in a very close proximity of each other. My team of four officers including myself maintained a calm, yet effective discipline within the establishment, resulting in multiple successful public events with minimal police involvement.

During the time I worked at Titan Pools, I had the opportunity to be an intern with the Orange County Sheriffs Department. I worked with deputies and Police Officers to effectively maintain good order and peace at over 30 county and local events around Orange county for Three Years. I was able to work on my public speaking while further developing my professional attitude in the work force.

Working at Titian Pools I learned how to effectively rebuild small pool motors (0.5-3 HP), Work on Pool Heaters and also balance chemicals in various bodies of water to sustain a healthy swimming environment.
