Since graduating from Cal Poly, Pomona in 1990 with a Behavioral Science degree, I have exhibited a desire and motivation to understand and serve the needs of people. This motivation initially led me to pursue a career in outside industrial sales, where I excelled in developing long term customer relationships. In 1994 I was named "Salesman of the Year" for Vanguard Packaging Company, having developed a profitable packaging supply clientele in the San Francisco Bay Area. My skills in leadership, event planning and systems development later found expression in my work in non-profit organizational environments where I developed volunteer service teams in facilitating the musical and technical aspects of church services. In 2008, I established the School of Worship Rock to provide an environment of training and Christian discipleship to musically talented youth. In 2014, I was hired by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) to work with the operations team at a Water Resources Reclamation Facility. My current role as a Treatment Plant Operator with LACSD has further expanded my experience in serving people by protecting the public health and the environment. In 2018, I became a volunteer men's group facilitator for Pure Desire Ministries, helping men gain freedom from sexual compulsive behaviors.
