Patient Relations Specialist
Current- Act as the first point of contact for patient and family concerns, ensuring a timely and effective resolution process.- Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to address and resolve patient grievances, enhancing patient satisfaction and care quality.- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers, promoting a clear understanding of patient needs and hospital policies.- Implement strategies for improving patient experience based on feedback and industry best practices.- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, feedback, and resolutions in compliance with hospital policies and privacy regulations.- Participate in the development and delivery of patient relations training programs for hospital staff.Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient rights. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations. Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques. Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations relevant to healthcare, including PHIPA.
