I am a first class honours chemical engineering masters graduate from Loughborough University with a diploma in industrial studies. I will commence working as a Graduate Process Engineer at Croda PLC on their Engineering Development Programme. I was selected as a Salter’s Graduate Award winner (2023). In the summer of 2022 I completed a placement at Loughborough university working with gas plasma to provide a proof of concept in a pretreatment pathway for a circular economy in breaking down old textiles to produce new textiles.In the 2020/21 academic year I completed a placement year at GSK, Worthing, working as a downstream process engineer in a small but specialist team, working to deadlines and learning in a constantly evolving work environment. During the placement I was achieved an EngTech TIChemE through IChemE as recognition of my placement work and provided the first step towards becoming a fully chartered engineer.I achieved the highest individual design mark in my cohort’s individual design projects during my 3rd year (80). In my first year of university I was awarded the BP prize for being in the top 15 student on my course. Away from academics I am a member of the Loughborough rugby union men’s team as well as my local club Stockport rufc. I have participated in an outreach program in my final year of uni where I tutored GCSE maths to year 11 students. I have achieved grade 8 in classical piano and trumpet and grade 6 in the viola following the ABRSM board, as well as playing in a multitude of different ensembles and perform individually.I have completed bronze, silver and gold DofE. Prior to uni I solo traveled Japan, Australia and Hong Kong as well as playing rugby, working and living in New Zealand for 6 months.
