As the Michigan editor, it was my responsibility to keep communication open between the various publications owned by IMG and the company's leadership team. Additionally, I was tasked with helping keep content and focus consistent throughout all of the Michigan-based publications as well as overseeing statewide content.This role was in addition to being the managing editor of three hyper-local publications based in the Upper Peninsula, Northwest Michigan and Mid-Michigan. I assigned and edited stories, wrote briefs and features, managed tight budgets and oversaw the updating of the website on a weekly basis and the creation and distribution of three newsletters.

Worked for a variety of publications as a writer and an editor. Content ranged from general blog posts to longform features and from sports to news to fiction. Handled photography duties on multiple occasions, as well as content management on multiple CMS platforms.
