Sam Endicott represents and counsels employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Federal Railroad Safety Act, and whistleblower compliance issues. In the area of litigation, Sam defends employers against claims of discrimination and harassment based on disability, race, age, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, and other protected classes, as well as claims of wrongful termination and retaliation. Sam also represents employers in wage and hour litigation, including class actions involving claims of misclassification of employees, and meal and rest period violations, waiting time penalties and other purported wage and hour violations.Sam also has experience litigating cases involving trade secret misappropriation and breach of non-competition agreements.Sam also provides advice and counseling to employers on all areas of employment law, including personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, classification of exempt status, employee discipline, internal investigations and litigation avoidance.
