The Master receives the authority from the highest levels of Company management.The Master has the overriding authority and responsibility with respect to safety and pollution prevention on board the vessel and can request any assistance from the Company as may be deemed necessary.The Primary purpose of the master is to ensure the passengers receive that which is promoted in a safe and efficient manner. When considering this the master must:- Ensure the safety of crew and passengers- Ensure safe navigation of the vessel- Ensure the safe operation of the vessel- Operate the vessel in a safe manner to minimise the risk of pollution to the environment- Maintain Orderliness and discipline- To be fully familiar with the vessel’s safety management system and be able to Implement and comply with the SMS on Board.- Ensure the crew understand the precautions and procedures for the safe operation of the vessel- Follow maintenance schedules and report any faults to the owner- Operate the Vessel within its capability considering the sea state, weather conditions and stability limitations- Consider the passengers when deciding to alter the schedule or services due to adverse conditions or mechanical issues- Maintain a complete record of the vessels operations- Report to the owner- Report and assist designated person in investigation of Hazardous occurrences and non-conformities- To be adept with the vessel’s structure and layout- To familiarise all first time crew members for the first time with the management system, safety requirements, instructions and facilities on board the vessel

My role and responsibilities included all pm maintenance for the vessel. In accordance with NSCV standards.

My role and responsibility extends to all PADI Dive courses conducted at any Training facility or on any vessel operated by PRO DIVE CAIRNS. To to ensure all PADI courses are conducted to the standards as set forth in the PADI Instructor manual and to the standards as expected by PRO DIVE CAIRNS.

My responsibility extended to all PADI Dive courses conducted at any Training facility or on any vessel operated by DEEP SEA DIVERS DEN. This responsibility does not oblige the Course Instructor to physically run all courses themselves but to ensure all PADI courses are conducted to the standards as set forth in the PADI Instructor manual and to the standards as expected by DEEP SEA DIVERS DEN. To this effect whilst i was in an Supervisory role i was to ensure all course standards were correct.

To provide a customer focused & proactive point of contact for Customers and Financial Advisors. To maximise new business through the quality of bespoke Customer service provided & the development of effective client relationships.
