  As the Theater Education Intern my job requires me to prepare lesson plans and teach classes and workshops as required for each session. Teaching and planning includes coordinating with conservatory staff as well as working with students aged pre-K through adult. It is within my purview to assess, write, and redevelop the theater education curriculum as needed for any given aspect of the curriculum taught. I act as an ambassador and serve as a community on behalf of the conservatory at community functions, open classroom, and showcase events as needed. I am an overseer and participant of all rehearsal, performance, and showcase events. This may include but is not limited to writing run sheets, performance reports, and other stage management documents as well as running light and sound boards, overseeing props, check-in, the set-up and striking of sets, and any other duties required of me.
