Advancing my role as a marketing consultant but also looking at internal processes and the business development of Bowler Hat as we grow

Having worked for Dunelm for 5 years, I have worked in several departments such as customer service, delivery, Bedding and Curtains. Over the years that I have developed an eagerness to learn and adapt my skills set within complex retail scenarios such as store renovations, as well as typical day-to-day skills associated with the retail environment, such as cash and inventory handling and merchandising. Furthermore, Dunelm has taught me about working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment for a company that is growing, as well as the potential issues that large corporations may face. This was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the organisation had to adapt its operations. This ultimately meant that I had to take on greater responsibility within my store, especially with customer issues.
