Experienced Channel Sales & Business Development Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the Payments, Telecommunication & Computer Software Industry across the APAC region. Skilled in building & development of Sales Teams through Leadership, Mentor-ship & Coaching. Also working within key business areas such as Marketing Management, Business Planning, consumer and B2B Sales, & Customer Relationship Management. Sam’s career commenced in 2000 within the Telecommunications industry where he spent time working in such organisations as Virgin Mobile/Optus, Brightstar, GoTalk Communications and Lebara Mobile across a range of Consumer Sales, Retail Channel Sales and National Distribution roles.In 2013 he joined Blackhawk Network as a Sales Director for Australia/New Zealand where he managed a portfolio of Partners within the Australian and New Zealand business. His next role with Blackhawk Network was Regional Vice President for Southeast Asia, where he was responsible for new business development in new markets where he led the team to launch Blackhawk Network into three new international markets Singapore, Indonesia, and India. This role was to create the vision and strategic plan to drive revenue achievement and growth potential through digital channels and digital products through the development of strong regional engagement with Consumer and Commercial Partners and E-Distributors. In January 2019, returned to Australia for family reasons. Upon his return to Australia, he joined Vodafone Hutchison Australia (now TPG Telecom). He started at Vodafone leading a team as National Business Manager of the Prepaid Distribution Channel, but after 12 months was asked transition to the Head of Prepaid and Mass Distribution which sees him lead the team servicing all Prepaid Channels within Australia.
