After teaching on mountaineering outreach programmes I set up my own business in North Wales - this was successful but lacked the community element I thirsted for.On arrival to work in Cornwall I found an evident lack of social inclusion, upward mobility for the etnics and recreational services for the local youth, bme, black, ethnic and diverse minorities in particular the youth of redruth ,camborne ,hayle, st austel,bodmin conurbations so I set up The Hope Project to be minoritie focused .The Hope Project is a not for profit org CIC / charity number is 08024863 we are geared toward nature schooling .recreational youth activities for minorities or those denied access to nature , environmental awareness,cultural and topographical access , intergration of diverse communities' and promotion of culture and heritage .we also provide inclusion and social justice programmes through counselling, recreational activities, holistic eco therapies , and environmental /heritage programmes .
