Responsible for critically analyzing active commercial loans through covenant testing and annual testing to protect the interest of the banking institution from default. A thorough understanding of basic credit department protocol, including Technical Exception tracking, credit reports, pipeline tracking, etc., reading a credit memo and determining what metrics are required to test the covenants, spreading and analyzing financial statements and documents for purposes of determining the borrower or guarantor service to debt credit ratio, and analyze the quantitative and qualitative data to reveal compliance or noncompliance of covenant guidelines per the loan agreement.Essential Job Functions:- Analyze all relevant loan data on new, renewal, and existing loans.- Perform credit inquiries and additional analyses on collateral.- Provide an annual review of all loans of the top 40 borrowers of the financial institution.- Prepare thorough and concise short forms, annual reviews, spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions for existing loans within established deadlines.- Responsible for managing financial information to ensure current reports, statements, accounts receivable, and other information on customer accounts, notifying the credit manager of potential complications.

Responsible for all essential accounting functions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Journal Entries, reconciliations, month-end closing responsibilities, and supporting the Controller on technical accounting issues. My duties also included monthly maintenance of general ledger account analysis and expediting the monthly general ledger closing.
