• Providing leadership and guidance to a team of 5 Accountants ensuring monthly accounting processes are accurately performed and in accordance with Group accounting policies.• Finalise and review monthly reporting packs for consideration at the monthly executive meetings for numerous divisions.• Ensure compliance in indirect taxes such as GST, FBT and Payroll Tax.• Prepare quarterly financial reports in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and prepare the Group’s quarterly submissions to Group’s bankers for covenant compliance. • Manage the Treasury function of the Group, from day to day transactions to long term cash flow.• Prepare year-end financial reporting for the Group and liaise with the Auditors.• Prepare the Group’s tax reconciliations and tax effect accounting calculations and liaise with the external Tax Accountants for submission of the Group’s tax returns.• Review and finalise the Group’s budgets and prepare the Group’s forecast balance sheets and cash flow projections.• Lead the restructure of the Group’s company structure including the spin-off of several divisions into new subsidiaries of a newly created Holding company.

• Preparation and review of Statutory Financial Reports, including special purpose, general purpose, ASX listed, reduced disclosure reports, not for profit and local government.• Executing audit engagements and ensuring audit documentation is compliant with Australian Auditing Standards.• Advising clients on specific accounting treatments to ensure clients financial reporting is compliant with Australian Accounting Standards.• Management of large audit teams to ensure services are performed within agreed upon timelines and to the highest standard attainable. Including being the initial point of contact for the client.• Providing training to the audit department on specific accounting and audit standards on a group or individual basis.• Preparation of tender proposals to win new clients and the preparation of budgets and fee quotes for existing clients.• Preparation and presentation of close out audit management reports to audit committees and business owners.
