I am co-founder and co-owner of ANXO Cider, (AHN-choh), Washington, D.C.’s first cidery. As President I oversees cider-making operations and have grown ANXO from a humble restaurant cidery to a nationally known producer of sugar & gluten free, contemporary American dry cider. ANXO is distributed to 22 states along with Nova Scotia and the United Kingdom and ships direct to consumers in 40+ states.I formed ANXO in 2016 with my sister, Rachel, and longtime friend, Cooper Sheehan, after we realized the unexplored opportunities in American cider while visiting Spain and the United Kingdom. I immersed myself in apple and cider culture becoming a Certified Cider Professional. Through continuous trial and error, ware are proud to produce cider that is distinct and uniquely “ANXO”. I'm most passionate about the sourcing of exceptional apples and the building of mutually beneficial relationships with the farmers that are keeping the apple industry alive in America. My ultimate goal is to play a meaningful part in the growth of apple and cider culture in America. Prior to founding ANXO, I made my mark on the craft beer industry by heading various beverage programs for Washington, D.C.- area bars and restaurants, including Churchkey, Meridian Pint, Smoke & Barrel and all local Pizzeria Paradiso locations. In 2011, I became the first certified Cicerone in Washington, D.C.
