One year internship in the Physical Logistics department, specifically accountable for transport related tasks such as:- Responsible for arranging and monitoring time critical Emergency Transport of automotive parts- Preparing and analyzing reports showing the performance of our Logistics Service Provider (Daily, weekly, as well as monthly for service reviews)- Responsible for arranging both inbound and outbound UPS transport.- Arranging freight returns from our offsite warehouse for goods to be sent back to our suppliers through the BMW ‘Flexi Net’.- Involvement in tasks outside of regular duties such as arranging and tracking DHL transport (our regular inbound freight provider), updating transport data master sheet for material controllers.
