CurrentMy primary responsibility is for the smooth running of our systems and procedures to ensure a fast and effective service for Clients and Insurers.Co-ordination: Supervising and directing the support team of account technicians onshore and offshore who facilitate our large business volumes and tight deadlines. Likewise recruiting, training, supervising and directing new staff when needed. Overseeing third party outsourcing, including the contracts and monitoring and reporting their activities.Documentation: designing, producing, organizing the relevant documents including the proposal form, compliant quotation templates, renewal invitations, etc.Information: Monitoring the progress of the book of business, producing MI on anticipated revenue, retention rates, staff activities.Data: Ensuring data integrity across the book of business, including designing data entry protocols, ordering IT updates, commissioning data extract reports, data cleansing. Also liaising with insurers and their actuaries on the data we collect for them, including claims triangulations and assisting with actuarial models.Management: Contributing to the team strategy and decisions on targets, opportunities, new business initiatives. Producing an annual reports on the campaign debrief and campaign planning which are passed up to board level.This role gives me an excellent insight into the mechanisms and priorities of insurers, the overall profile and development of our book of business and the market generally, which puts me in a much better position to pass on useful advice to my clients and allow them to benefit from my access to that information.Formerly acted as Account Exec and Business Developer for IFA's and Surveyors.
