Booking Office Manager
CurrentI deal with both external and internal clients on a daily basis. This includes handling telephone enquiries and bookings, and meeting with clients to discuss details of their event. I meet with clients who are organising weddings and corporate functions both at Highbury and the Council House to discuss the details of their event. This includes; discussing menus, drinks and table plans and other information relating to the event.Within my role I am sensitive to customer needs, which may include dietary requirements, mobility access, client ability to read menus and civil partnerships.I consider myself to have good communication skills as I regularly deal with clients both on the telephone and face to face, recording their event details. The information I produce is for the client’s reference and for our front of house team to assist them with the smooth running of the event.I have been heavily involved in designing marketing material to promote our venues and events. I manage the Highbury Hall Facebook page. I make suggestions and implement new events which are successful and generate income for our company.I organise and manage public events such as Wedding and Craft Fayres. I have also suggested and managed Open Evenings to promote the venue.I set up and manage customer accounts including raising invoices and internal charges. I also have experience in debt chasing.
