Finalising the development of CITL's Long Term Program and developing theories of change for each thematic area, implementation plans, revision of the Gender Strategy and leading the development of new Partnership and Impact and Learning (MEL) Strategies and Toolkits. Based in Basse Santa Su, a remote rural town in the east of The Gambia, working with a community organisation that supports people with disabilities in the rural regions. Responsible for organisational development, capacity building and delivery of the multiagency PSO Action Learning Project.Trained staff and led the development of systems and guidance in project management, monitoring, evaluation and learning, basic financial monitoring and accounts, fundraising, proposal writing and report writing. A range of capacity building and research and analysis techniques including needs assessment, workshops, group facilitation, meetings, formal training, coaching, mentoring, focus groups and interviews. Groups included predominantly illiterate speakers of three different local languages, those with physical disabilities, visually impaired and deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsible for the successful operational and strategic management of SEE’s environmental research and international development programmes in five countries (Tanzania, Madagascar, Cambodia, Fiji and Costa Rica). Responsible for two UK based departments (International Operations and Research & Development) and overall strategic planning for the organisation.Management of strategic reviews, planning and organisational development strategies at programme, department and organisation level. Development of effective relationships with existing and potential partners including government ministries, village councils, donors, academic institutions and INGOs. Oversight of all internal and donor (DEFRA) funded field projects including approval of budgets and expenditure, review of reports and publications, compliance, monitoring and evaluation.
