As a student journalist for the Keck Center's Asia Experts Forum, I was tasked with crafting interview topics and conducting interviews with scholars and policy analysts with expertise in various topics related to business and economics in Asia. Additionally, I transcribed and edited these interviews for clarity before they were published on the Asia Experts Forum website.

As part of the Human Rights Watch press team, my role focused on expanding the reach of HRW's research through global media coverage. In pursuit of this, I used media analysis software to break down coverage of HRW reports to show where our media strategy was performing strongly and where it needed improvement. Additionally, I worked to build the network of journalists we could reach through social media. I grew the following of the press team's Twitter handle (@HRWpress) and worked with another intern to create a regular system for sending press updates through Twitter. I also used social media to find key local journalists and influencers in countries where HRW was working, in order to ensure our reports reached the media markets they covered and a non-Western audience in general.

As a Development Intern, I conducted research on potential donors and partners to fund Salzburg Global Seminar sessions and their participants. I edited outreach letters to existing supporters, and sought to find new potential partners working in fields that overlapped with SGS's many focus areas.As a Program Intern, I worked on the preparation for and implementation of SGS sessions. This included preparing materials for participants in the sessions, assisting the program team with administrative matters, ensuring that sessions ran smoothly, and facilitating dialogue among participants.

Along with another intern, I created and implemented an electronic system for tracking deliveries of food and beverage orders. Using basic tablets and Google Sheets, we took the order tracking system fully digital, allowing for more efficient communication between delivery drivers and product managers, and making order records more secure. We also trained drivers in the use of this system to ensure an easy transition from the previous paper system with a minimal learning curve.
