Equipment Projects Manager
CurrentReporting to the Head of Engineering & Managing Director, I lead a team of design engineers, fabricators and machinists to implement new GMP equipment in aseptic production suites whilst supporting our production facility in the troubleshooting and repair of existing equipment.Some achievements in this role are:- Led design and development work culminating in the successful completion of an aseptic engineering batch for a novel paste-based drug product which included spray drying, manufacture, container filling and closure. This opened a pathway to clinical trial production.- Due to initial supplier inaccuracies I demonstrated expertise in process adaptation, successfully modifying components, equipment and processes to achieve successful outcomes.- Delivery and commissioning of a £2 million aseptic filling line comprising of a vial filling machine, vial crimping machine and three gassed flexible walled isolators.
