I am currently a Sr Cybersecurity Consultant with Edafio Technology Partners. I specialize in incident response, threat intelligence, policy and compliance, risk management, and security training awareness programs. I am also the author of How Cybersecurity Really Works: A Hands-On Guide for Total Beginners. The book is designed to give regular workers, business executives, and teenagers interested in the field a starting point to learn about cybersecurity in a way that relates to their everyday lives. I was previously the Cybersecurity Education Specialist at Jacksonville North Pulaski School District. My job included building a full cybersecurity career pathway program that takes students grades 9 through 12 from fundamental computer science courses to advance cybersecurity training. I also managed career and college opportunities for students who are seeking internships or concurrent credit. Our goal was to have our students ready to enter into the cybersecurity field when they leave Jacksonville High School, whether that be at a high educational institution or directly into the career field. I previously worked as an Information Assurance Instructor for Succeed to Lead, Inc. at the National Guard Professional Education Center at Camp Robinson, North Little Rock.
