I am currently working on a project in the San Gabriel Reservoir that is focused on removing sediment. My work on this project involves relocating native fish species like Santa Ana Sucker and Arroyo Chub upstream while the reservoir is being drained. We also are required to euthanize any invasive species found to prevent them from disturbing the native habitat. In addition to relocating fish I am conducting bird surveys in and around the construction zone to prevent them from nesting in the equipment.

I observe and record data on commercial swordfish and bigeye tuna boats. This requires being at sea for days and weeks at a time while collecting samples in the field for further analyzation. All the data I collect is used by NMFS.

Worked as the SMCHS Boys water polo JV and Frosh/Soph coach. I am currently serving as the SMCHS Girls water polo JV coach. Duties included managing 20+ players, serving as a point of contact for families, and teaching the fundamentals and tactics of water polo.

Served as the SET 16 and under boys water polo head coach. Duties included developing and implementing practice plans, making roster decisions, coordinating with groups, and teaching the fundamentals and tactics of water polo.

Lead groups of 2-20 people on kayak tours in the La Jolla Cove. I also led several safety training for new employees and served other roles the company needed filled.
