I was an undergraduate teaching assistant for CSE 331 at the University of Washington, Seattle. The course explores concepts and techniques for design and construction of reliable and maintainable software systems in modern high-level languages, program structure and design, program-correctness approaches, including testing, and event-driven programming (e.g., graphical user interface).I led weekly quiz sections that complement lecture contents, facilitated discussions, prepared review materials for quiz sections, held regular office hours to tutor students and extra review sessions for exams, managed and responded to a high-traffic discussion forum regarding course materials (on average ~20 questions per day), helped prepare test questions, and acted as a liaison between students and professor.

I was an intern on the Amazon Advertising Targeting & Optimization team, which focused on developing targeting and optimization tools that help improve the performances of advertising campaigns. During my internship, I developed a notification feature (which shows up as a "Notification" tab) on the Amazon Marketing Services homepage (ams.amazon.com) that notify advertisers about important events regarding their advertising campaigns. This was s full-stack project that involved Javascript webpage development on the front end, Spring MVC Framework in the website controller layer, and Java for the backend data communications.
