Improving the quality of apprenticeship delivery by supporting tutors to deliver using the “flipped learning” model.Writing self-assessment reports and responsible for implementing the Quality Improvement Plan and Quality Calendar.Acting as Lead IQA for all regulated qualifications.

Developing and managing partnerships with schools, to support them in delivering first aid as part of the 2020 vision for health education as part of the PSHE curriculum.

Managing provision of education for all 14-16 year-old learners at North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College, comprising:- Full-time Inspire provision for learners with behaviour difficulties who have been excluded, or are on the verge of exclusion, from mainstream education. Learners continue to work towards a range of GCSE and equivalent qualifications, whilst being coached to manage their challenges with behaviour and emotions.- Part-time provision for schools on a day release basis, to offer a range of vocational subjects that the college has specialist facilities for. This generates valuable income to the college, as well as promoting our offer as a post-16 option to prospective learners.- Full or part-time infill programmes for 14-16 year old learners as an alternative to mainstream education. These programmes are specialised to the individual and can cover a range of subjects, to complement study at school.

Managing a directorate with a large number of full-time learners, apprentices and professional short qualifications.Line managing around twenty members of staff, ranging full-time, part-time, sessional and agency.Overseeing recruitment of staff and timetabling for Engineering qualifications from Level 1 through to Higher Education.Assuring quality teaching, learning and assessment is taking place within the directorate.Managing the student disciplinary process in line with college-wide procedure.Co-ordinating a robust internal verification process and working with external verifiers from three or more awarding bodies (Pearson, C&G, EAL etc...)Coordination of marketing activities to drive student recruitment.Regular monitoring of KPI's.
