As a manager trainee at Baillie Lumber, I am learning the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and manage a sustainable lumber business. I have a bachelor's degree in sustainability studies from North Carolina State University, where I gained a solid foundation in environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability. I have also acquired relevant skills in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and first aid through my education and work experience. Previously, I worked as a laboratory assistant at NC State, where I performed pulp and paper analysis and processes, and as an intern at Southern Energy Management, where I assisted with solar energy projects. I am passionate about sustainability and its applications in the lumber industry, and I aim to contribute to Baillie Lumber's mission of providing high-quality lumber products while minimizing environmental impact and maximizing social responsibility.
