Delphi taken over by Borg Warner, responsibilities as below.

• Procurement of new equipment • Developing software and new testing procedures for new products. • Creating process documentation (COSHH, risk assessments, PUWER, work instructions, maintenance schedules etc)• Working with production to fulfil normal production requirements but also fulfil sample orders and specials.• Working on First Time Pass Rate team to understand new technology and how to improve the product / pass rate.• Collaborating with engineers in other departments (Including other sites both in the UK and overseas.) • Mentoring / coaching apprentices, graduate engineers and other colleagues.• Analysing test data using Matlab, LabVIEW and Excel to identify machine / process / product issues. Dealing with large amounts of data captured at high speed.• Working closely with production and maintenance departments to deal with breakdowns.

• Setter level running / maintenance and repair of machines within Injector Functional Final Test area including working off site at a sister factory. • Interfacing between engineers and production staff to help meet production targets and implement process improvements. • Working alongside engineers to develop solutions to product and process issues.

• Varied duties around the factory including problem solving, planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, bench fitting, machining, welding, electrical installation and testing.• Completing modern apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Maintenance
