I've thoroughly enjoyed my university experience so far studying a Bachelor of commerce, majoring in Finance and Marketing; it's opened my eyes to the variety of opportunities there are in the broader commerce space. However, the most fulfilling aspects for me have consistently been outside the core curriculum. Joining the University of Auckland Investment Club and being a part of the investment committee analyst team have been particularly rewarding, developing my qualitative and quantitive analysis skills ad opening my eyes to the world of investment banking.Competing in case competitions developed my problem solving and presenting skills and led to my first job in the marketing sector. Additionally, delving into the startup world through initiatives like the Velocity 100k challenge and the Startmate accelerator resulted in me co-founding two startups: 'Greater,' specializing in premium meal boxes, and 'Yoyo Storage,' which caters to summer storage needs for students. By immersing myself in the startup space, I've also had the privilege of joining Uniservices' Agritech and Foodtech Investment Board. Here, I've had the privilege of exchanging insights with industry leaders and providing feedback to emerging startups.Outside of the business space I love to cook a good meal, go to the gym and greatly enjoy any water based activity.I'm excited to see what the rest of my time here will bring.
